Mike has over 25 years of experience serving clients in the areas of auditing, individual and business tax, and business consulting.  Mike was named a "Super CPA" in a recent issue of Twin Cities Business Monthly and Minnesota Law & Politics.  Mike lives in Chanhassen with his wife Sue and their three children, Katie, Mollie and Ryan.  In his free time Mike enjoys golf, basketball and coaching. An honors graduate from the University of Minnesota, Mike has over 20 years of experience in the areas of individual and business tax, real estate taxation and planning, business consulting, financial and investment planning.  Mike is also a registered investment advisor offering investment and financial planning services through WD Financial Services, LLC. Professional Memberships and Achievements: American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA) Certified Financial Planner (CFP®)   TIM THOMPSON, CPA Principal tim@weberdeegan.com Tim leads the accounting & audit practice at Weber & Deegan, Ltd. with his 25 years of experience including the following: Attest services (audits, reviews & agreed-upon procedures), including lead person in audits of employee benefit plans Financial reporting and management communications/presentations Non-attest services, including compilations and accounting support Prospective financial reporting (forecasts, projections & budgets) Interim chief financial officer & controller services Individual and business tax compliance and planning Professional Memberships & Achievements: Tim is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas, a member of the Minnesota and American Societies of Certified Public Accountants, and was named "Super CPA" in the Twin Cities Business Monthly and Minnesota Law & Politics. Additionally, Tim served a 5 year term as finance chair for the Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce and is active in other organizations. Prior to joining Weber & Deegan, Tim spent 14 years as a partner with Carver Moquist & O'Connor LLC helping the firm grow into 2 offices and 70 people prior to departing in April 2007. Tim then spent 2 years as the chief financial officer for Stinar Corporation based in Eagan, Minnesota.   JOHN T. BARGHINI, CPA, CVA, MBT Principal johnb@weberdeegan.com John joined Weber & Deegan in 2011. Previously he was a tax partner with Hansen, Jergenson, Nergaard & Co where he was responsible for the quality control of the firm’s individual tax compliance clients. He has a Masters in Business Taxation from the University of Minnesota, a BA Business Administration with an Accounting concentration from the University of St. Thomas and over 20 years of public accounting experience.   At Weber & Deegan John serves a variety of accounting and tax clients and also provides services related to estate planning, business transition planning, qualified retirement plan services, commercial and individual planning and compliance services and business valuations.   Professional Memberships and Achievements: American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA) National Association of Certified Valuation Analyts (NACVA)
